INTRODUCTION

Prolog is a programming in logic and it is different from other programming languages. Prolog is a declarative language. It can help a Programmer specifies a goal to be achieved and Prolog system works out how to achieve it.

APPLICATION OF PROLOG NOWADAYS

There are many application of prolog. One of the applications is movie maker. Prolog is very important to the movie industry because it can help that industry to produce a good quality animation or films. Actually, most of the movies that produce by movie industry use the prolog programming. It can help them to lower the cost, makes the movie looks real and interesting. Skills are important to create an animation using prolog. We will put some video to show the prolog in films nowadays.

Beside,
prolog also applied in Natural language processing (NLP). NPL is an analysis of computer and generation of natural language where human can interact with computer system. It is applied in robotic where the robot can read or speak and understand that human being speaks.
Now days the creation of robot become more sophisticated until it can replace the human works. For example in Japan their receptionist of customer is using the robot that completely likes human behavior. Beside in many company for instant in Honda, the Japan automobile company they use robot to make their work more easily and systematically.

The application of prolog also involve in expert system area. Expert system are designed and created to facilitate management in the fields of accounting, business, medicine, process control, and human resources and so on. One good example of expert system is in banking area where it helps in standardizing and efficient handling of mortgage loan.

Automated reasoning also application of prolog, its is referring to the understanding of computer programs or software to wide variety of problems which then solve by using logical reasoning automatically that created in the computers or system. The given solution might completely or nearly completely solve the problems. The chess game in the computer is one of the examples of application in automated reasoning.
